Description
Composition: Each 100 ml of solution contains:
Hexamidine Diisethionate 0.1% – Chlorohexidine 0.5% – chlorocresoI0.3%
Usage:
A disinfectant solution used to clean the””infected skin and mucous membranes.
Not to be used :
hypersensitivity to active substances or any other ingredients of the product.
don’t use on eyes or in the ear canal in the case of Perforation of the eardrum membrane.
Disinfection before biopsy or surgery.
Disinfection of medical and surgical equipment.
Undesired effects:
Some topical conditions can occur: pricitching, burn, dry skin, redness, especially in cases of repeated use.
localized allergic reactions can sometimes occur because of the presence of Hexamidine and disappear slowly.
Chlorohexidine can cause allergic eczema especially if the skin is affected, mucous membranes or ulcers of the lower extremities.
Rarely, general allergic reactions occur.
Special warning:
The product should not be used on a wide surface of the skin or damaged skin, including burns, in children or preterm infants without consulting a physician, due to the risk of passing the product to the general circulation.
For external use only.
After opening the package a cross-contamination may occur.
Precautions:
The application should be followed by a thorough rinse of the applied areas.
Note:
The product shouldn’t be used with other antiseptics as it is likely to be have elimination of the effect.
Do not use in conjunction with regular soap.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Use with caution and after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist.
How to use:
The product is used as liquid soap:without dilution or dilute 1 to 10 then full rinse.
Do not store the diluted solution.
